We follow a Finnish philosophy and place a very high focus on life skills, well-being and mental health. Many services are provided as an integral part of the learning experience with support given 'at the point of need' by our qualified staff. We are lucky as we naturally attract staff who are keen to develop and are reflective, holistic practitioner. As such, we invest in them, and many of our staff are gaining further therpay qualifications alongside their work; this means we can offer a wider range of 'on-tap' services.
Every tuition student has a sensory diet programme to reduce anxiety and also support occupational therapy targets. Each child has specific exercises, table top activities and tasks which are bespoke to them. We also have lots of group sensory processing activities and programmes to help those who are sensory seeking and others who are sensory adverse. Our visiting OTs review progress.
