Careers advice is provided by an externally funded provider (U-Explore website.u-explore.com) and we are actively working towards achieving all of the Gatsby benchmarks as detailed in the DFE publication that you can download below.
Due to the vulnerability of our students, we have to carefully intertwine aspects such as work experience with their occupational therapy and mental health programmes. This team approach means that before transfer to college all students will have created a CV, carried out at least one placement and recieved feedback, experienced an interview prior to their college interview day, spent sessions with our external provider looking at the skills they have and the potential careers open to them in the future.
