These individual case studies and have been put up without names to protect individual identities.
They refer to cases that we have been dealing with on a TUITION and THERAPY basis, so hours are less than they would be once we are a registered school
They do however show how individual our work is and how this will need to continue when we are a school, as whilst we can operate with notional schemes of work up to year 10, it is impossible to predict the coverage required for many students operating beyond year 10.
Age 15. in chronologial year group
Severe self harm, depression and anorexia
Was felt needed to take GCSEs in chronological year group as had very high expectations of themselves and risked further depression

Intensive programme of therapy support, combined with an individual scheme for year 11 with additional home education support from parents
Gaps in learning identified, number of GCSEs reduced to focus on quality rather than quantity. Achieved 5 passes (Bs and As) with exams sat at previous school
Age 16, chronologically year 11
Out of school since age 13 - large gaps in knowledge
Severe OCD - gloves. Very high anxiety. ASD and ADHD.
High intensity of therapy required to support targetting OCD, dealing with depression and self esteem issues, dealing with social anxiety and change

Individual scheme of work created to address gaps in knowledge and to work towards taking GCSEs in English, Dual science and maths.

Throughout year 10 needed a very slow and therapeutic programme, by the end of year 10 was accessing age appropriate tasks but still needed work on resiliance, and motivation in order to be able to perform at a level that met expectations of GCSE.
